Lvov Petro Ivanovych, 1882 - 1944

A Russian painter and graphic artist. Born in Tobolsk, Russia. From 1898 till 1904 he studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under the guidance of S. Korovin, V. A Russian painter and graphic artist. Born in Tobolsk, Russia. From 1898 till 1904 he studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under the guidance of S. Korovin, V. Baksheyev, S. Ivanov, until 1913 - at St. Petersburg Academy of Arts in battle workshop of F. Roubaud, M. Samokish. He began to exhibit his works in 1909. He participated in the exhibitions and was a member of such associations as "Union of Youth", "The world of Art", "Moscow painters", "Four arts", new union of artists, Moscow Society of Art Lovers, Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. He taught drawing at Higher state artistic and technical workshops (1924 - 1929), at Leningrad Academy of Arts (1933 - 1935), at Moscow Institute of Art (1935 - 1941). He created many landscapes and genre works, which are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery and other museums and private collections.
