French painter. Born in Cluny, France. He studied at the Paris School of Fine Arts in F.-E. Pico. In 1853 debuted at the Paris Salon. Got a medal at the Salon in 1866 and 1875. Works are kept in the Museum d'Orsay in Paris, and in museums in French cities Oaten, Douai, Perigueux, Dieppe, Valenciennes and others.
