A German painter and graphic artist. Born in Frankfurt, Germany. He received art education in D_sseldorf Academy of Arts (1889 - 1895 under the guidance of P. Jansen), in Munich Academy of Arts (1895 - 1898 under the guidance of K. Marr) and in Julien Academy in Paris (1898 - 1903 under the guidance of D. Loren). Before the World War I he lived in Paris, where he exhibited his works in the salons: Independent and Autumn (permanent participant since 1904). He participated in group exhibitions in Worms (1915) and in Frankfurt (1921). He painted still lives and landscapes. He was engaged in monotypy and ex-libris. His works are stored in the Art Museums of Germany and France.
