A Russian painter and graphic artist. Born in Karabash, Chelyabinsk region. From 1946 till 1950 he studied at Palekh Art School, during 1958 - 1962 Р at the department of book graphics in Moscow Institute of Printing, during 1962 - 1964 - in Moscow Institute of Art. Participant of numerous regional, republican and all-union exhibitions since 1966. Member of the Artists' Union of the USSR since 1970. His personal exhibitions were held in Moscow region: 1981 (Dmytriv), 1982 (Dovgoprudnyy), 2001, 2004 (Sergiyiv Posad). He is well-known as the author of genre works, historical paintings, portraits, as a graphic artist, who continued the traditions of the Russian realistic school. His works are presented in Sergiyivoposadskyy museum-reserve, in the galleries of France, Britain and Spain.
