She lived and worked in the city of Saint-Maurice (Switzerland). In 1880 - 1892 traveled a lot to Italy, in 1884 lived in Florence. Created a great series of marinas, revealing the beauty of the north-western coast of Italy. Often visited Germany, where she became known as a master of delicate watercolors.
