Wojciechowski Tadeusz, 1902 – 1982

A Polish and Ukrainian artist, architect. Born in Krakow. In 1931, he graduated from the architecture faculty of Lviv Polytechnic Institute. He studied painting at the private studios of the famous artists P. Gajewskyy, K. Sikhulskyy and J. Rosen. During 1929 - 1935 - member and exhibitor of the avant-garde artists’ association in Lviv "Artes". ...

He studied painting at the private studios of the famous artists P. Gajewskyy, K. Sikhulskyy and J. Rosen. During 1929 - 1935 - member and exhibitor of the avant-garde artists’ association in Lviv "Artes". In the years of 1936 - 1937 he was on scholarship in France, traveled to Italy, Greece, Germany and Austria. From 1940 till 1941 he taught in Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Later he moved to Krakow, where designed stained-glass projects. His works are kept in Lviv Art Gallery, in the Art Museums of Lodz, Krakow, etc.
