That very year he received a small silver medal, and in 1865 - a large silver medal; in 1867 he got the title of an artist of the 2nd degree, in 1868 - the title of an artist of the 1st degree and a gold medal n.a. Mrs. E. Lebrun for the ТexpressionУ in his painting "The Bride which got the ring back" or "Broken Dreams" (Odessa Art Museum). His solo exhibitions were held in St. Petersburg (1875) and Moscow (1889). He lived and worked in Kyiv and St. Petersburg. The author of portraits and genre scenes. The works are stored in the NAMU and in many other museums of Ukraine and Russia.
