A Russian painter, author of lyrical landscapes. Born in St. Petersburg. In the years of 1935 - 1939 as an auditor attended St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, the art studio of her father Р an outstanding painter I. Brodsky, and since 1939, she studied in Moscow under the tutelage of M.Krymov and V. Meshkov. Travelled a lot about the country, and in the mid of the 1950Хs was on a creative journey in Ukraine. Corresponding Member of the USSR since 1970. The Laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR n.a. I. Repin (1977).  The People's Artist of the USSR since 1980. In 1981, she was awarded a silver medal of the USSR Academy of Arts. Her works are in the state Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in the art museums of Kyiv, Lviv, Chelyabinsk, Astrakhan and other cities.
