Ukrainian sculptor. Born in the village of Toporivtsi, Chernivtsi region. Graduated from Vyzhnytsky College of Applied Arts (1972), Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1980). Since 1981 actively participates in art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions took place in Kyiv (1992, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006), Munich (1992), Chicago (2003, 2004), Washington (2004). Member of the National Union of Artists (1986). Honored artist of Ukraine (1996). Winner of the International Biennale "Lviv - 91" (first prize in sculpture). Since 1994 he teaches at the M. Boychuk Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Art and Design. Since 1998, he participated in the workshops of sculptors in the cities of Yampil, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Lutsk, Beirut (Lebanon). Lives and works in Kyiv. His works are kept in the Art Museums of Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Chernigiv, Cherkasy, Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky, as well as Germany, Canada, USA, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.
