During 1926 - 1930 he was involved in stage design and worked a lot on theatrical scenery design. In 1927, he had his first solo exhibition in Bialystok. In 1928, he moved to Warsaw, where he conducted an active exhibition activity. In 1929, he received a three years grant to work in Paris, and in 1938, he was admitted to French citizenship. In the early 1930s, he turned to sculpture. Lived and worked in Paris, where he frequently attended the art studio of F. Leger. The author of numerous paintings, sculptures and illustrations.
