Russian painter and theater artist. Born in the village of Azarovo, Orel province. P. K. Klodt's grandson, the nephew of M.P. Klodt. Russian painter and theater artist. Born in the village of Azarovo, Orel province. P. K. Klodt's grandson, the nephew of M.P. Klodt. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1883 - 1886) under the guidance of V. Makovskyy and E. Sorokin. Lived and worked in Moscow. Exhibitions perticipant since 1889 (Moscow Society of Art Lovers, Moscow Society of Artists, Society of Russian Artists). Founding member of the Society of Russian Artists (1903). He participated in the creation of panels for the Russian pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris (1900). In 1900 - 1910 he designed (together with K. Korovin and A. Golovin) the performances of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. He taught at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1902 - 1918). The exhibition of his works was held in Moscow (1940). The works are stored at the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, the A. Bakhrushin State Central Theater Museum, Art Museums of Russia, Belarus and others.
