Ukrainian painter, graphic artist and sculptor, one of the leading Ukrainian animal painters. Born in Berdichev, Zhytomyr region. Ukrainian painter, graphic artist and sculptor, one of the leading Ukrainian animal painters. Born in Berdichev, Zhytomyr region. He studied at the Kyiv Institute of Art (1946 - 1952) under the guidance of I. Pleschynskyy and V. Kasiyan. Exhibitions participant since 1954. He collaborated with publishing houses: "Youth", "Art", "Rainbow" and others. He made about 100 drawings for Ukrainian Soviet Encyclopedia (1960). Actively collaborated with the Scientific and Natural History Museum of Ukraine. He created two large paintings on the walls of the Paleontological Museum, the museum contains about 150 works of the artist. Member of the National Union of Artists. Solo exhibition was held in Kyiv in 1962. Retrospective exhibition was held at the Museum of Natural History (Kyiv, 2009). The works are in Lugansk Art Museum, Taganrog Art Gallery, National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), the State Darwin Museum (Moscow), history, local history and natural history museums in Ukraine, Russia and private collections.
