A Ukrainian artist, painter. Born in the village of Rymarivka, Poltava region. In 1965, she graduated from Kyiv Institute of Art, where she studied under the guidance of V. Puzyrkov, K. Trokhymenko, V. Kostecki. Since 1965, she took part in republican and all-union exhibitions. She was a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1967. In 1969, she was upgrading her professional skills in creative workshops of the Academy of Arts of the USSR under the guidance of S. Grigoriev. In 1968, she became a teacher of Kyiv Institute of Art, and in 1994 she became the professor there. She got the title of Honored Artist of the USSR in 1989. She’s been the Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine since 2006. She is the author of portraits and still lives, master of landscape and genre painting. Her works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine and other Ukrainian museums.
