Kryzhytskyy, of the Union of artists (1912 - 1917) and the Union of the artists-individualists (1912). In the early 1920s he settled in France. He traveled a lot and worked in England and the United States, where his pictures enjoyed great success. He exhibited his works in Paris (gallery Magellan, 1921, the Salon of the Union of the French artists, 1922, 1923), in London (1927), New York (1928, 1931), Chicago (1933). The landscapes were often reproduced in European and American magazines. Master of lyrical landscape, he was famous for his ability to convey subtly sunlight and moonlight.
