A Russian artist. Born in Moscow. In the years of 1914 - 1915 he studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. After the Revolution he emigrated to Czechoslovakia. He studied in Prague at the Higher Technical School (1921 - 1922) and at Prague Academy of Arts under the tutelage of Y.Oborovskyi. In 1924 he was a stage designer...

A Russian artist. Born in Moscow. In the years of 1914 - 1915 he studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. After the Revolution he emigrated to Czechoslovakia. He studied in Prague at the Higher Technical School (1921 - 1922) and at Prague Academy of Arts under the tutelage of Y.Oborovskyi. In 1924 he was a stage designer for the Russian theatrical troupe that came on a tour to Prague. He was the director of the art school at the Russian Academy of Sciences and a co-founding member of the Union of Russian Artists in Prague. He conducted an active exhibition activity. He painted portraits and narrative compositions dedicated to the White movement. Made drawings for Russian magazines. The works are kept in I. Karasek Gallery in Prague, and other art museums and private collections.
