Ukrainian painter, Sixtier dissident. Place of birth is Kazakhstan. He had been living in Kyiv since 1949. Vudon worked as a Set Decorator at a Film Studio, took part at archaeological expeditions. Since 1977 he conducted joint exhibitions with the best friend painter - M. Tregub. Baklytsky belonged to a group of innovative painters "New Band". ...

Ukrainian painter, Sixtier dissident. Place of birth is Kazakhstan. He had been living in Kyiv since 1949. Vudon worked as a Set Decorator at a Film Studio, took part at archaeological expeditions. Since 1977 he conducted joint exhibitions with the best friend painter - M. Tregub. Baklytsky belonged to a group of innovative painters "New Band". For the period 1990 - 1992 he was a member and exhibitor of group of freelance artists "Strontium-90". He also belonged to prominent representatives of nonconformity. Among pupils and successors there are M. Vaisberg, V. Bykov, L. Kolodnytsky, I. Lorens etc. Many paintings of the painter were taken out of the country by foreign collectors. His works are kept at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Zimmerli Art Museum at New Jersey and others.
