A Ukrainian painter. In 1945 he finished Art School in Alma-Ata, where he studied under the guidance of the famous Ukrainian artist A. Cherkaskyy. Until 1952 he was a student of Kyiv Institute of Art (the workshop of O. Shovkunenko). Honored Artist of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1974.
