The name of the artist is mentioned in connection with the social unrest in 1686 in Cologne, which was led by the N. Golikh. The most common motifs of the masterХs still lives were so-called "covered tables", as well as images of war trophies and weapons. His works are kept in the Wallraf-Richartz Museum (Cologne), in Schleissheim Art Gallery (Munich).
