A Ukrainian painter and graphic artist. Born in Gorlovka, Donetsk region. In 1974 he graduated from Kyiv Institute of Art (his teacher was V. Puzyrkov). Since 1982 he participated in numerous republican and all-union exhibitions, in the Triennale of Ukrainian graphics (1997, 2006), etc. Member of the National Union of Artists since 1984. His personal exhibitions were held in the Municipal Gallery Rube in France (1997), in Chernigov (1998), in Mimi Ferzt gallery in New York (1998), where in 2000 there was a joint project of V. Trubchaninov and A. Savadov. Honored Artist of Ukraine since 2009. He lives and works in Chernigiv. Excellent representative of Ukrainian postmodernism. Author of numerous graphic series. The creative work of the master illustrates the famous expression belonging to the French philosopher and semiotics R. Barthes that "The system that can be analyzed is not interesting, but the transition from system into system is interesting".
