Ukrainian innovator artist, a brilliant representative of postmodernism. Born in the village of Mykhaylivka, Kyiv region. Got his art education in the art studio of the "Bolshevik" plant under the guideness of G. Khusid. Participated in exhibitions of the underground artists in the apartments of Kiev intellectuals and abandoned buildings. He worked as a designer at the O. Dovzhenko studio and an artist at the Institute of Archaeology (1975 - 1984), where he made sketches during excavations. The organizer of the "New Band" group. Until 1977 he participated in exhibitions of the "Movement" informal association. He received public recognition only after his death (suicide). Shortly before his death, he destroyed part of his works. His works are kept in the National Art Museum, Art Museum of New Jersey (USA), private collections in Germany, Canada, Israel, UK, USA, Italy and Russia.
