A Ukrainian and Hungarian painter. Born in Uzhgorod. He received his elementary art education under the guidance of the Romanian painter A. Littetskyy. A Ukrainian and Hungarian painter. Born in Uzhgorod. He received his elementary art education under the guidance of the Romanian painter A. Littetskyy. From 1920 till 1923 he studied under the guidance of the famous Hungarian painter J. Thorma in the colony of the artists in Nagyb_nya (now - the city of Baia Mare, Romania). From 1930 till 1931 he studied in Budapest Academy of Arts. In 1931 he won the cash prize at the competitionof painters from Budapest and moved to Italy. During 1936 - 1937 he taught at the Hungarian College of Art in Rome. He participated in numerous exhibitions. In the late 1930s he moved to Paris, during the Second World War Р to the United States. He painted still lives and landscapes.
