A Russian landscape painter and graphic artist. Born in Kharkiv. He studied at St. Petersburg Academy of Arts under the guidance of L. Lagorio. In 1886 he received a great encouraging silver medal. He brought the elements of genre into the landscape. His works are stored in the State Russian Museum, in the Art Museums of Berdyansk, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novgorod, Omsk and in other art museums of Russia and Ukraine.
