A Russian painter and graphic artist. He studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under the guidance of such outstanding artists as K. Korovin and S. Ivanov. After graduation (1904) he went to Paris where he continued his art education at Paris School of Fine Arts, as well as in the private academies of F. Colarossi and Siemens. He took an active part in the exhibitions of the academies. In 1908 he returned to Russia. He taught painting in Vetludza and Kazan. In 1918 he was engaged in poster graphics, book illustrations, and designed agitation trains. Exhibitor of various exhibitions, including Р of Moscow union of artists.
