A Ukrainian artist. Born in the village of Ochretyne, now Donetsk region. In 1911 he graduated from Kyiv Drawing School. During 1912 - 1917 he studied at St. Petersburg Academy of Arts under the guidance of I. Repin and I. Tsionglinskyy. Officer of the UNR Army. He took part in the exhibitions of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions. Member and exhibitor of "The Community of the Artists" (1910 - 1928) and of the Union named after A. Kuindzhi (1917 - 1930). Since 1921 he lived in __d_, Poland. He exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions, including the main salon of Warsaw "Zahenta", where he won a silver medal. Author of picturesque series dedicated to the history of Ukraine. He painted landscapes and genre scenes. He worked as a designer in the theaters, taught painting. His works are presented in the Art Museum of Khmelnytskyy and in many other museums of Ukraine, Poland and Russia.
