A Russian painter. Born in Khabarovsk. In 1949 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, B. YohansonХs workshop. Participant of republican, all-union, foreign exhibitions since 1948. He received a silver medal at the exhibition of the World Youth Festival in Moscow (1957). He lived and worked in Leningrad. He took an active part in creating an art gallery in the city of Leo Tolstoy (Lipetsk region). His personal exhibitions took place in Leningrad (1960, 1973). People's Artist of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic since 1983. Author of genre compositions and landscapes. His works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, in the Art Museums of Murom, Lugansk, Minsk, and in other museums and private collections of Russia, the USA and Germany.
