After 1917 he moved to Germany, continued his study in Berlin. He lived in Paris in 1923. He belonged to a circle of Russian artists of Montparnasse, for some period of time he helped I. Puni, was on friendly terms with K. Tereshkovych, L. Volovyk and P. Kremen. His works were shown at exhibitions of Russian artists in Paris (1925, 1930, 1931, 1932) and Prague (1935), as well as in Tuileries Salon (1932, 1948) and Autumn Salon (1938 - 1975, with breaks). He painted caricatures for Satyricon magazine (1931). He published art critics and little stories in Russian magazines, was a head of Art Critic Department in group "Numbers". He participated in exhibitions organized by the Union of Soviet Patriots (1945, 1946), exhibitions of Russian Artists of the School of Paris in Paris (1961) and the Russian View in Heidelberg (Germany, 1974). Painted interiors, urban scenes and landscapes.
