A Ukrainian painter, a student and a bright representative of M. BoychukХs school. Born in the village of Valyava, Cherkasy region. From 1914 till 1917 she studied at Kyiv Art School (her teachers from the faculty were F. Krasytskyy and F. Krychevsky). During 1917 - 1922 she studied at the Ukrainian Academy of Arts in Prof. M. BoychukХs studio of monumental painting. She worked in the field of monumental and easel painting, drawing, arts and crafts. She was a member of the Association of Revolutionary Art of Ukraine. During the first year of studying she was invited by M. Boychuk to participate in the paintings of the Lutsk barracks in Kyiv (1919), of the experimental wall paintings of the lecture halls of the Institute of Plastic Arts (destroyed 1934). From 1922 till 1927 she taught at the Mezhyhirskyy ceramic college. In 1929 she received an official invitation to the teaching work to the Higher state artistic and technical workshops and moved to Moscow. She took part in the decoration of the government buildings in Frunze (Kyrgyzstan), where she also developed the sketches and was the author of the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Soviet Republic. During 1933 - 1935 the artist visited Ukraine, took part in the paintings of Chervonozavodsky Theater in Kharkiv. In the years of 1936 - 1937 she was at the head of the workshop of frescoes in the construction of the Palace of Soviets, created a series of frescoes in the Governmental Palace in Frunze (1936 - 1938), at the all-union agricultural exhibition pavilions in Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan (1938 - 1939), in Belarus and in the Russian Federation (1951 - 1954) in Moscow. From 1991 till 1992 there was the first exhibition of the artist in Ukraine Р in Kyiv and Lviv. Her works are presented in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in Cherkasy Art Museum, as well as in many private collections.
