French artist, graphic artist, painter and lithographer. Born in Lyon, France. He studied at the School of Art in Lyon, later he moved to Paris where he continued studying at the school of one of the most famous masters of advertising posters P. Colin. He began his own artistic career in 1943 when he met the famous art dealer E. David (who at that time worked with the representatives of the Ecole de Paris) and thanks to him, the artist signed a contract with a prestigious Drouant-David Gallery in Paris. Soon the artist became one of the most popular portrait painters of high society of Paris and London. In 1947 in Drouant-David Gallery with great success, there was the first solo exhibition, in 1949 - the exhibition in the USA, where all the paintings were acquired by the president of 20th Century Fox R. Goldstein, after that the name of the master became well known in the USA. He was favorite portrait painter of many Hollywood stars, including E. Taylor, D. Shore, J. Wallace and others. Subsequently, the artist paid his attention to the art of lithography, in which he attained the highest professionalism. His works are kept in the museums and private collections in France and the USA.
