A French painter and graphic artist. Born in Poitiers. He received art education in Paris School of Fine Arts under the guidance of the famous master L. Bonn, among whose pupils were such outstanding artists as O. Kharlamov, H. de Toulouse-Lautrec and Prince Eugene. The main place in his work was given to the scenes of war and sport life. He achieved considerable success in depicting horses. His pictures were often reproduced in magazines, in Le Studio in particular, and published in the form of leaflets. He was also engaged in book illustration. He lived and worked in Paris. His works are presented in the Museum of Civilizations in Europe and the Mediterranean in Marseille and in Paris museums.
